Abstract
Since January 2020, Lea Fobel is a research associate and doctoral student at the Institute for Political Science in the BMBF-funded project "Mhoch2: Meta-project on cultural education in rural areas" ("MetaKLuB", Head: Prof. Dr. Kolleck).
Prior to this, Lea Fobel studied sociology at the University of Bielefeld (B.A.) from 2014 to 2017. She obtained her Master's degree in "Demography and Social Inequality" in Sociology and Social Research at the University of Cologne (M.Sc.) and in "Population Studies" at Groningen University, Netherlands (M.Sc.). She wrote her master's thesis on regional differences in social and civil participation of older people in Germany.
