Abstract

Maren Reitler is a scientific assistant at the Chair of Communication Science under Prof. Dr. Patrick Donges at the Department of Communication and Media Science at the University of Leipzig.

In her dissertation she takes a closer look at debates concerning practices of reproduction within public (media) spheres.

  • Seminar: Communication about Climate and Sustainability

    The Seminar focuses on various approaches about climate and sustainability communication. As part of research about media effects and media reception, different psychological phenomena and effects of climate and sustainability are examined. Similarly, the content and impact of communication by non-scientific actors from the fields of journalism and education, as well as social movements, are also discussed.

  • Seminar: Digital detox

    The students work on their own research projects, focussing on the phenomena of Digital Detox. They use qualitative or quantitative methodes to gain data.
