Abstract
Emma Hughes has been a research assistant at the Institute for Communication and Media Studies at the University of Leipzig since December 2022. After studying cultural studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg (B.A.), she worked as a project assistant at the Federal Cultural Foundation in Halle an der Saale in 2020. In addition to her master's degree in cultural studies at the University of Leipzig, she worked as an administrative coordinator at the ReCentGlobe research network. At the Institute for Communication and Media Studies, she is researching the topic of Automated Welfare (AUTOWELF).
