Abstract
Florian Döring is a research associate and project coordinator at the Center Journalism and Democracy at Leipzig University (JoDem).
Born and raised in Leipzig, he studied sociology at Leipzig University and Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg following his civil service. After working as a youth education officer for a children’s and youth association in the Rhine-Main area, he returned to Leipzig University in 2015 to organize training courses as a project employee in the Coordination Office for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities at Saxon universities and colleges. Since 2018 he has been supporting the Universitätsgesellschaft Leipzig, the friends’ association of the Alma Mater Lipsiensis.
