Abstract
I am interested in the data-driven analysis of communication and language use using methods from computer science such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and statistics. In addition, I am also interested in how recent developments in AI research such as "Large Language Models" can be meaningfully integrated into humanities research. I am currently working as a research fellow on the project "Framing Big Data" at the Department of Communication and Media Studies. In 2016 I started my studies at Leipzig University in Linguistics and graduated in 2022 with a Master's degree in Digital Humanities. Since 2023, I have been working on the preparation of my PhD project on the topic of automated detection of speech acts in political communication.
