Abstract
Marc Keuschnigg is Professor of Sociological Theory at the University of Leipzig. He teaches Introduction to Sociology and engages students with a broad range of theory traditions in the Bachelor's program. In the Master's program, he teaches Computational Social Science and Experimental Sociology.
In addition, Keuschnigg is Associate Professor at the Institute for Analytical Sociology at Linköping University in Sweden, where he leads research groups on cultural dynamics, spatial inequality, and computational text analysis.
Keuschnigg obtained his doctorate from the LMU Munich (2012) and his habilitation from Linköping University (2018). Before that, he was a visiting scholar in Mangalore, India.
He is executive director of the Leipzig Institute of Sociology, member of the supervisory board of the Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences (GESIS), Vice President of the International Network of Analytical Sociology (INAS), and elected fellow of the European Academy of Sociology (EAS).
