Studienprogramm

Dieser Masterstudiengang kombiniert Global Studies und Wirtschaftsgeschichte. Im 1. Jahr werden die Studierenden in Leipzig ausgebildet und kombinieren Perspektiven aus der Geschichte und den internationalen Studien mit der Ausbildung in kritischen Methoden in den Sozial- und Geisteswissenschaften und in verschiedenen Weltregionen. Im 2. Jahr, an der LSE, bauen die Studierenden auf diesem multidisziplinären Verständnis von Globalisierungsprozessen auf und spezialisieren sich auf globale Wirtschaftsgeschichte und deren Einbettung in die politische und kulturelle Geschichte.

Das erste Jahr des Programms findet in Leipzig (Deutschland) statt. Von den Studierenden wird erwartet, dass sie alle Anforderungen des Studiengangs in Global Studies in Leipzig erfüllen, wie in der Studienordnung für Jahr 1des Programms in Leipzig aufgeführt sind.

Die Studierenden müssen Kurse im Umfang von 60 ECTS belegen.

Das zweite Jahr des Programms findet in der Abteilung für Wirtschaftsgeschichte der LSE statt. Während ihres Jahres an der LSE müssen die Studierenden den MSc in Global Economic History absolvieren. Von den Studenten wird erwartet, dass sie alle Anforderungen des MSc an der LSE zu erfüllen, wie in den Bestimmungen für das Jahr 2 des Programms an der LSE.

Die Studierenden müssen Pflichtkurse im Umfang von 2 Einheiten (30 ECTS), Wahlfächer im Umfang von einer Einheit (15 ECTS) und eine Masterarbeit im Umfang einer Einheit (15 ECTS) absolvieren.
