The professorship Social Philosophy and Philosophy of Education teaches and conducts research on the normative and conceptual foundations of human community and its social and political contexts. It reflects on the existence of the human being through considering the forms of its education. In so doing, it analyses both the basic conceptual definition of these forms, and their cultural diversity. It also forms a focal point in the philosophical foundations of didactics and in philosophical subject didactics.
